Jennings told OffTheBus that Quantico is the “kind of place where they’ll ask you to remove an Obama bumper sticker from your car.”

How is this allowed to go on?
How can your job be to defend America’s freedom abroad and yet as a culture at Quantico, and I am sure other military bases, suppress soldiers’ rights to express their beliefs? This would bother me just as much if it were happening to McCain supporters or if the majority religion in this country were Judaism and it were happening to Christians or any other faction.
Why is it that bullying is part of institutionalizing of individuals within our armed forces? Have I answered my own question? Wouldn’t we want intelligent, questioning soldiers with the ability to think on their feet? Sometimes “orders” are wrong. Oh wait, then we wouldn’t have a force willing to fight wars that mattered only to corporations and politicians.
Maybe our system is nothing more than a machine to create a “Coalition of the Willing Compliant”:

Maybe this needs to change.
