Between Mountains

My farewell ride in Vermont.

This route was almost as tough as the Cornhole Challenge. Had been trying to get around to it the whole time here in Ludlow, VT. Nor did I get out early enough when I did – my intent was to see a moose.

Rode nowhere near as many miles in VT as I thought I would have. Mountains shorten normal Ohio distances for rides by leaps and bounds. No close mountain bike trails locally to Ludlow either. Additionally, time with friends and family took precedence. The memories were worth the shortage of miles. A solid week of pouring rain didn’t help things either – for hiking, road riding, or mountain biking.

Not only will my heart break when I leave but my legs will grow weak.
